George W. Bush's "Social Insincerity" Program

George W. Bush's social insincerity

George W. Bush's vision of "social security" is a gross perversion of what has been considered a 'safety net' for senior citizens since FDR. Call it what it is, "social insincerity'! What a dork...

"George Bush, the King of Fraud"

by George Glazunov

WOW! What can I say, but WOW! Christine Craft's Talk City 1240 AM mock Bush coronation rocked a solid punch all the way to the Associated Press last Thursday at the California State Capitol. It was the second fraudulent election in 4 years sponsored by the Bush administration that prompted direct action by tax paying voter citizens. Many disenfranchised voters in Ohio were pissed that there votes didn't count, particularly the Afro-American community. And that's one of the primary reasons Christine organized the event. What can I say, I was honored to participate in fighting for democracy. After all, democracy is not just something you "have", it's something you "do!" You have to participate! "They", whoever "they is, won't do it for you! So get up off your arses couch potatoes!

Bob Fitrakis from freepress.org reported the following; "Due to computer flaws and vote shifting, there were numerous reports across Ohio of extremely troublesome electronic errors during the voting process and in the counting. In Youngstown, there were more than two-dozen Election Day reports of machines that switched or shifted on-screen displays of a vote for Kerry to a vote for Bush. In Cleveland, there were three precincts in which minor third-party candidates received 86, 92 and 98 percent of the vote respectively, an outcome completely out of synch with the rest of the state (a similar thing occurred during the contested election in Florida, 2000). This class of error points to more than machine malfunction, suggesting instead that votes are being electronically shifted from one candidate to another in the voting and counting stage. All reported errors favored Bush over Kerry. computer flaws and vote shifting, there were numerous reports across Ohio of extremely troublesome electronic errors during the voting process and in the counting.

"Earth to American citizens, earth to American citizens"...hello, are you there? Anybody home? It's not ok! Wake up! Our stand was to mock the absurd process by which the republicans have taken (along with some democrats) that it's ok with fraudulent elections and let's just move along like stepford children. Yikes! Not! For more info go to www.blackboxvoting.org.

Back to political art...The Bush "Election Fraud" image was one of the Bush political graphics I used for the event on Thursday for the Bush coronation protest. I'll have to credit Shepard Fairey for his "OBEY-GIANT" icon for being an influence along with russian propaganda art for the masses. Yeah team! What a show, everyone was great ! It literally blew my mind standing from the north steps of the state capitol at Thursday's event looking out at a stampede of protestors and signs, I was verclept. Here it was Thursday, a work day at 10:00 am in the morning and we had a great crowd! The Sacramento Union reported "more than 700 people attended the “Counter Coronation” gala on the steps of the Capitol in Downtown Sacramento" This direct action proved that we are a collective group of creative mover-shakers and free thinkers, not sheeple like some of our democratic leaders who've sold us out. List to follow for boycott of democratic and republican losers...

KCRA channel 3 reported only 200 people attending the event followed by somber saxophone playing.....Somber Saxophone playing? Give me a break! I wonder what KCRA is smokin' ya know? Cuz who do they think supports their advertisers? We the people, that's who! Talk about shooting yourself in the foot! What's that sucking sound from KCRA I hear going into a vacuum, wouldnt be a long solemn fart would it? Excuse me, but their shit stinks. It's the duty of a true journalist is to report the facts, not opinions regarding the news! Get a clue KCRA from Christine Craft! How could KCRA and the Sacramento Bee both miss the mark on the issue of democracy and free speech? Hmmm... go figure.

Truth is we produced over 300 signs that said "Electile Dysfunction", "Fraud", "It's ok to say the F word...(Fraud)" and banners that were all being used, there wasn't enough to go around the other 400-450 people. KCRA's reporting sucks the big one. I encourage all of you to phone KCRA and the Sacramento Bee (no reporting on the mock Bush coronation) and complain loud, long and hard of innacurate reporting and insist they report the news NOT opinions or suppression:

Sacramento Counter Coronation Blasts  Bush’s Illegal War

Over 400 activists from Sacramento’s progressive community on Thursday afternoon joined with thousands in Washington D.C and throughout the nation to protest the inauguration of G.W. Bush.In the afternoon “counter coronation” event, a diverse group carrying mock coffins and colorful signs marched from Cesar Chavez Park in downtown Sacramento to the federal building to protest the illegitimacy of Bush’s foreign and domestic policies. The Anti-War Working Group, a broad
coalition of community groups including Veterans For Peace, the Chicano Consortium, Sacramento Area Peace Action, the Central America Action Committee, the Zapatista Solidarity Committee and other peace and social justice organizations, organized the event.

The march was preceded in the morning by another “counter coronation” organized by Christine Craft, talk show host, and 1240 AM, Air America’s Sacramento affiliate. Bill Camp, executive director of the Sacramento Labor Council, and Grantland Johnson, former Sacramento County Board of Supervisor, spoke at the rally at the State Capitol’s north steps after a march from Cesar Chavez Park. An estimated 400 activists also attended this event.

During the afternoon rally at the federal building, George Main, president of the Sacramento chapter of Veterans for Peace, emphasized that the American people “must defend their right to vote.”“Let’s take back our country – it’s ours,” Main said. “We have to get out of Iraq. I urge people to not vote for any politicians who can’t tell us when the troops are coming home.”
In a similar vein, Dr. Fadhill Al-Kazily, an Iraqi American, urged people to keep up the fight against the Bush administration’s Iraq quagmire.“We must bring our troops back home,” he said. “The Iraqis should have no reason to fight Americans. All the Iraqi people want is to be left in peace.”

Olga Treviso, a member of the Tigua Indian Tribe from El Paso, Texas now living in Roseville, pointed out how Latinos, Native Americans and people of color are recruited into the military in disproportionate numbers because of the lack of job opportunities in the U.S.

“It’s mostly minorities and the sons and daughters of the working poor that are dying in this war,” she said. “The military is promising Latinos citizenship if they join the Armed Forces.”She also pointed out the ironic example of her father, who fought in World War II, but was not allowed to vote and had to struggle to receive VA benefits.

Maggie Coulter of Sacramento Area Peace Action said people should pressure Senator Barbara Boxer to join the 16 Democrats in Congress who signed a letter asking Bush to pull out of Iraq now. “Boxer should support a similar letter in the Senate,” Coulter stated. She also exhorted activists to demand an inquiry to what really happened in the U.S. assault on Falluja.

More than 700 people attended the Sacramento “Counter Coronation” gala

Anti-war advocates led a march Thursday, through the streets of Sacramento, to protest the inauguration of Presidenti George W. Bush.

SACRAMENTO— For hundreds of Northern California residents, the prospect of having four more years of President George W. Bush is simply too much to bear. To show their dismay, Sacramentans staged local protests to Thursday’s inaugural celebrations occurring in Washington D.C.

More than 700 people attended the “Counter Coronation” gala on the steps of the Capitol in Downtown Sacramento. The event featured speeches by local anti-war activists and impersonations of President Bush and National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice.

A host of peace advocacy groups sponsored the event, including Sacramento Area Peace Action and the Anti-War Working Group. Local representatives of the liberal Air America Radio affiliate, 1240 AM, and members of the Sacramento branch of anti-Bush group Code PINK were on scene for support.

Marcel Reyes, an event monitor, said there are many people left angry over the outcome of the November election.
“I have never seen [Bush] go to any kind of neighborhood, or done anything great for the minorities,” Reyes said.
Joining Reyes in her criticism of Bush was Code PINK member Lesa Chan.

“I’m out here because I want to give voice to the fact that Bush has no mandate,” Chan said. “We represent a great number of people not here.”

Protesting the protestors was midtown resident Jason Schmelzer. Holding signs that read, “If they really wanted peace, they’d protest terrorism,” the Bush supporter and his friends led a counter demonstration yards away from the counter coronation.

“We attend these protests because we like to give a counter view,” Schmelzer said. “The Republicans [at large] usually don’t come out to protest, so we do it for them.”

The event ended with a march through Downtown Sacramento. Passing motorists took turns offering honks of support and shouting jeers of condemnation. The protestors accepted both, and remained on street corners until the early evening.
