Hi, my name is Glazunov,aka George Holden. I am dedicating this blog to politikal art and aktivism, particularly freedom of speech aimed at the u.s. patriot act. Remember "there's nothing patriotic about the patriot act". President Theaodore Roosevelt once said, "To announce that there must be no criticism of the president, or that we are to stand by the president, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public." Dejavu fast forward... My parents suffered McCarthyism in the 50’s and early 60’s. They kept a low profile in fear of being deported back to Europe. They told me they were german and I believed them. Having barely surviving nazi work camps and fearing the worst hey concealed their russian identity from me for 16 years for the very same reason. Connections with relatives and a rich cultural heritage with my Great Grandfather, Alexander Glazunov a famous russian composer were virtually unknown. This blog is dedicated to my russian family and to other freedom seekers in the world In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.
